Hi, I recently completed repaying my home loan. The bank said there is no mortgage that was registered in its name and the property has been in my name. I find it hard to believe. Can we check if it is true? If not, how to get mortgage removed?
There is one why by which you can verify whether your property's loan has been registered as a mortgage in favour of any Bank for the loan you had borrowed. another thing is if you had deposited the original papers of the property in the bank, upon the closure of loan the Bank is lound to return it to you , have they return it to you ?
