Does the wife have rights over the husband's property after death

My grandfather died few years back leaving back a home of his own and a shop with total 4 children. My father used to run shop after separation and death of my grandfather. Grandfather did not prepared any will and my dad also died month back without any will. My mother being wife of my father have any rights over shop?
