Does daughter have rights in Late father's business

10-Mar-2024 (In Property Law)
My late father owned 3 printing press where he has invested a lot on the printing machines. Now my brother is looking after them and not sharing anything with me. He sold one of the press where my father was a partner and has kept all money for himself. He was replaced as partner after my father's death.

yes as a daughter you have equal rights as that of a sun, you can file a suit for partition and separate possession and also sue for rendition of accounts and ask for all the details, as per law now daughters have equal rights as that of a son, so just file a suit and also interim application and get orders not to alienate, sell, mortgage, give on rent order till disposal of suit. Thereafter you can either settle the dispute or continue with the case if he does not agree to give you the share which you are entitled as per law.
