Does builder specifically needs to mention the tax head on receipts

15-Aug-2023 (In Property Law)
Hi How is the registration charge/ service charge and vat calculated for an underconstruction apartment in Hyderebad? Does the builder specifically needs to mention the tax head on the receipts? If yes and if builder is not ready to put that in writing can it cause a legal issue for buyer at later stage?

HI
The builder should include the Service tax component and mention the same as separate line time in any receipt being issued to you.
Registration charges and Stamp duties are any mentioned in the reverse of the first/ second page of sale deed and hence these need not be mentioned separately.
As long as the buyer has made all the payments specified in the agreement, there is no problem for the buyer. if the builder is not mentioning the tax component separately, then it is assumed that his prices are all inclusive.
No worries.
