Do I need to submit original lease deed for filing eviction suit?

26-Mar-2023 (In Property Law)
My tenant has been force ably occupying my property without paying rent , nor does he stay at the property. I sent him a legally notice and now filing an eviction suit in the district court. I am being told that I will need to submit the original leas deed when filing the suit. Will I be required to submit the original lease deed during the time of filing eviction suit ? I am worried that the lower level staff under influence may disappear the lease deed from the file and I have not other document. Please advise.

Whenever original documents are filed in a case the same are kept in safe custody of the court in prescribed manner and staff can not indulge in malpractice as apprehended by you without risking his job. Photocopies of documentary evidence are often filed supported with affidavit initially and original documents are produced at or before the settlement of issues.
