Do I have to attend court proceedings if I file a case of land issue

I want to file a case for land issue at my village but I am working at Bangalore. Is it required to attend court hearing or date in personal.?

No, in civil cases you are not required to be personally present at all hearings. Your lawyer can represent you in court. However, When a pleader for a party or his agent is unable to state the facts to the satisfaction of the Court, the Court has the power to require the personal attendance of the party concerned (Order X, Rule 4, Civil Procedure Code).

No , in civil case you are not required to be present on each and every proceeding of the court. It is your advocate who conduct the case. It is only at the time of evidence, that too if court summons, you are required to present before the court.
