Delayed legal procedures, My lawyer says his name is not registered

I had bought and mutated a land decades back. ROR is in my name.
A person made a false plain paper agreement and claimed paid 50% as advance.He filed civil suit I am notcompleting deed. Requested the court for status quo on land.
Last two years the case is moving with 3 months between hearings. Either A or his lawyers are absent.
Now MY lawyer says his name is not appearing defendant lawyer.
Is there any appealing authority?
hi first need to see the stage of the case and the contents of the suit filed by him and if it is fuled with all false ciontents of the case then you could file for rejection of plaint and also expediete petition in court
