Delay in payment by builder as per the order of consumer forum

dear sir/maam i have purchased a flat in hyderabad in 2012 and in the agreement it is mentioned as semi finished and i paid in full through cheques and as the builder did not finish the works so approached consumer forum. the honorable forum has given order to pay me the amount as requested in my complaint. and the last day is 17th december 2017.the order was passed on 17th november 2017 by the district forum. what should i do if the builder does not pay the amount by 17th december 2017.kindly advice.
You should file an application for execution with in 30 days from the date of knowledge of order. You can opt either For attachment and sale of judgment debtors property or arrest the judgement debtor for non compliance of order under 25&27 of consumer protection Act.

You can file a contempt petition in the court were the order were passed that he had not complied the direction of court. The court will take care as it will be dealt with criminal proceedings in contempt case.

you can file a execution petition against the builder either to attach his personal property or bank account having amount or you cane seek arrest of the builder among these three prayers it is your choice of prayer to seek for recovery before the consumer forum
