Conversion of property

Greetings, I'm owner of flat on ground floor which I want to convert in commercial for business . Request your advice whether it possible or not to convert legally. Thanks and regards

It is nothing impossible in law , but within the parameter of legal formalities , if you are resident of a complex in that case you have to take the consent of the association for getting your property converted into commercial or business use and thereafter you have to have the same regularised from the end of the Municipality, Corporation, Gram Panchayat or any other other authorities who uses to grant sanction for construction of building in the area where you are residing. The authority will take charges as per their norms and grant you permission for use the said space for commercial use.

Your answer is yes and no.
If your flat co owner are registered the housing under society Act then we have to see the constitution of the flat.
Also you need some legal work
And some Clarence letter from some authorities.
And the nature of business is determined.
