Constructing 2 wall inside the house but stopped by MCD

Sir we have own a commercial propery and we live in its ground floor.its on main road.so on the front there is drawing room..so because we have room shortage we have build two walls inside our house to convert drawing room into bedroom.but mcd officials comes and said this is not allowed and they stopped our work. Please suggest us something..its will be of immense help..plz Is it illegal to contruct inside our house? How we can solve this issue with mcd?
They have given you any notice in the regard. If they have not given you any notice their act is illegal. When they are stopping you have they given you any document or issue any challan or anything? Under what authority, they are stopping your construction. If they have given and if the document is termed as order , you can challenge it before the MCD tribunal. If no documents are given and they came only to threaten you., you can file a case for permanent injunction before the civil court. You will get stay and no MCD official will take any action against your property. Revert me . All the best.
