Compensation for land acquired by government

Actually i have 1 acre agricultural land side of the Approved DTCP layouts.My agricultural land is acquiring by Government for 6 way new national highway. Regarding to compensation,DTCP approved layouts are getting rate as per sq. yard basis.my agricultural land and DTCP land are side by side but with different survey numbers.My doubt is whether my land gets compensation by rate per sq. yard basis or acre cost basis.There is huge difference between them.Government registration rate for my agricultural land is 18.5 laks and andhra pradesh government is giving 2.5 times (i.e Rs 46 laks) and per sq yard rate is RS. 3500 with 2 times (around 2 crore per acre).How should I approach the higher authority?
There will be different rates of compensation by the Government. One rate for Agricultural land and One rate for Non Agricultural land (layout laid after conversion i.e. Plots). You better contact me through Lawrato for clear legal position.
