Maine 1997 mein 2000 sq ft kheti zameen kharedi thi uss samay main namantaran karvana bhool gya tha abhi tesildar ka kehna h ki naye rules aa gye h namantaran nhi hoga mere pass isski registry hain kya kuch ho skta h

Yes if you have the registered sale deed alongwith the registry papers. Then you can apply for the mutation of property providing the documents which are mentioned above.

Now the namantaran of less then 2400 Sqft. Land is not done. Where is the land situated in which you have invested? In this situation you need to get the diversion of the said land done. Then only the namantran can be done.

the tehsildar cannot refuse namantaran (mutation ) if you have a valid clear title based on a registered sale deed.if the matter is pending on the file of tehsildar the high court can direct to conclude the mutation namantaran proceeding in a time bound manner
