Clarification on making a power of attorney in brother's name

I am joint holder of Pune property with my father.Father is bedridden in Chennai after a stroke.He is resident of Indore.I am an NRI.My father and I want to give power of attorney to my brother who lives in Chennai to manage the property.Can we draw Power of Attorney in Chennai.Will registrar come home to get sign from my father?

Yes the documents can be signed by your father in the said case however, it depends more on personal request to the registrar by stating the circumstances or you can file an application to the registrar's office for that purpose.

Sir, Yes it is possible to get the power of Attorney signed before the registrar in such a situation. you and your father can give power in such a way to proceed the transaction through your brother in chennai.
