claiming property in adverse possession. How to proceed ?

Sir, we are residing in a property since 1992,later in2000,we reconstruction it.there are not any legal suit, electricity and water bill are on my father name.we have receipts of house taxes in my father name...so where should we go to claim adverse possession and what documents we need to provide.Note:-this property is registered in name of my uncle and given by my grandfather as a family partition,later he was unagree for transfer of ownership

dear friend , you can file declaration suit on the ground of adverse possession but many judgment of hon'ble supreme court
clears that no one can take title on the very basis of adverse possession .

now we are coming to the problem , was the said property ancestral or your grandfather bought it
if the said property was ancestral and your grand father was not bought it then this will be a good news for you
then you can file partition suit
