Civil Dispute between Mother and Son

Civil dispute involving an undivided family property (without will) where assets have been passed on to the wife after passing of husband. Mother and daughter filed a civil suit seeking partition of the House that the son is living. They fled after taking the liquid cash and other valuables at home.
How does the share of property and rights of liquid cash and other assets get divided between a son and daughter? Who has greater rights?
