CIDCO Conveyance Deed for Navi Mumbai Socities

26-Dec-2024 (In Property Law)
I have lived in a society in Sanpada, for the last 18 years. The builder had taken money for the CIDCO conveyance deed but did not complete the process. The society asked the residents to pay the same conveyance deed separately. Some of the residents protested and did not pay. So the society is levying a penalty of 21% every year for the last 6-7 years on this amount as a defaulter's fine. They are not allowing my new tenant to occupy my flat. Is this legal, Can you please help

Society can not refrain the tenant from occupying the flat as the matter of conveyance deed is different from the affairs of the society the society has to deal thos separately in totality We can send the legal notice to the society based on the legal rights as per the society bye laws

Well, you can lodge a Complaint against them to the Society Registrar. Still, if things won't work out for you, lodge a case against them before the Co-Operative Court. If you won't get any positive result from such forum, you can file a case in High Court.
