Cancelling power of attorney for the property

13-Jan-2025 (In Property Law)
Hi, I had given power of attorney to my relatives before I went abroad, I also had given them the documents of the property for safe keeping. Now I want to cancel the power of attorney, but I don't have the documents with me, how can I cancel it. The relative doesn't give me the documents always saying one reason or the other. I know the property has not been sold, currently it is rented. My question is how can I cancel the power of attorney in my circumstances. Thanks Regards John

if the power of attorney is a registered one then you cAn registered deed of revocation of power of attorney. you should have to issue notice of revocation also to the power of attorney holder. anyhow you should have to do it at the earliest. you are also left with the option to file suit declaring cancellation of power of attorney also
