Can we claim damages for refusal to share ancestral property

Sir can I claim amount on loss incurred by my father & sister adamantly refusing to give my ancestral property share amount for past 20 years?

Have you ever issued a legal notice to the concern party for the denial to give your fathers share in the common property?. Here,You have not given proper facts of the case. Law says you should have made an attempt to claim your father's lawful share. It might be possible to reclaim any rent or income out of the common property, if any, depending upon the facts of your case.

yes . You can claim over all costs alongwith means earned through the property with interests for 20 years. There con't be no loss when u r not in possession. you r having right to ask all means earned with heavy interest as damages for their prolonging.
