Can step brothers claim whole share of diseased father's property ?

Am living with my mother. Father is no more. We are 3 brothers, 2 elder brothers are my step brothers. We have a 60x40 plot with a house in one corner. Few years back ourselves verbally shared the property. Myself and mother got big piece compared to 2 elder brothers. Now elder brother are not giving property papers to do a khata to individually. One of the brother is living in the house of the property. We are not getting any benefit. I want to get khata done or move them out till the khata done. How to proceed? Please help me.
You and your mother do have equal right over the property as your step brothers. You can file a suit for partition and claim your share.You can as well apply at the Jurisdictional Tahsildar office to transfer khatha by producing death certificate of your father.
