Can special power of attorney be made for siblings

22-Apr-2023 (In Property Law)
My father had acquired two apartments during his lifetime. Can I include more than 1 property details in special PoA given to my sister or do I have to execute separate SPoA for these properties? I am a Hindu by birth.

Hello,
For the query you posted, I would suggest the following.

I doubt that you can execute one PoA for two different properties. Though depending upon the circumstances of the the case, I.e. what is such SPoA executed for also decides your query.

I hope that answers your query

Hi,
Special power of attorney is executed to perform a specific task on behalf of the owner/Executant .
For more than one task, General power of attorney is executed .
For the answer to your question, there shall not be any problem if you inherent her with powers to perform specific actions .
Moreover only owner can execute powers ..
Need to check relevant documents.
