Can son get NOC from grandmother on deceased father property

17-Jul-2023 (In Property Law)
My father passed away recently. His mom is still alive. I am applying for legal heir and i heard mother of the deceased son has right according to the law to be the legal heir. My question is will my grandmother's children have right over the property as well? Will there be a way not to include the mother name of the deceased son in the legal heir certificate. Should we get a legal document signed from her saying she doesnt want anything to do with my father's property?

The mother of a Hindu male dying without leaving a will shall be one of his Class I legal heirs, and shall be entitled to her share along with the widow and children of the deceased. She cannot be legally excluded.

You can not change the law and as per the law the legal heirs of the deceased person consists of his wife, children and the his mother . Bit other people will not come under the category of legal heirs .
