Can Society cancel covered parking allocated by builder?

Dear Sir, I have booked flat during 2016 with single covered car parking and Builder issued Parking allocation letter for the same but now during possession they have allocated Single Covered Shed parking and said “Allotment of parking is now confirmed by Society and is governed by Society rules and is finalized as per MAHARERA procedure”. So, my question here is 1. Can society have authority to cancel previous Covered car parking allocation done by Builder? If yes, are they need to take approval from court first and cancelled previous allotment as I didn’t get any notice or information for same. 2. Is Covered car parking also come under society common area and Society has rights to reallocate it? Please suggest what should I need to do here?
