Can Society Building 2 Level Mechanical Parking Accommodating More Car

Can a housing society having open parking space build mechanical parking system to accommodate double cars ?
If yes, does the society require BMC permission for the same?
Which other permissions are required?
Is Conveyance required before building as the society in question is fighting for the conveyance ?
The open space belongs to the society as per the OC PLANS.
Even if the open space belongs to the society, you are required to seek permission from BMC for undertaking any kind of construction in opens spaces too. Feel free to contact me for seeking any legal advice as regards the same.

Well, the Society does not need permission of BMC to accomodate double cars in Open Parking Space, if such open Parking Space does not fall within the jurisdiction of BMC. If the Open Space belongs to the Society as per the OC Plans, then Society needs permission of Society Members to create Mechanical Parking System on it, not of BMC.
