Can mother ask for share in her fathers property if he is not giving

My mother has got 1 brother and 1 sister.Her father is planning to sell his property but he is telling that he is not going to give anything to my mother. He is telling that he is going to divide his property in between his son and his younger daughter. My mother is his elder daughter but he is not ready to give anything from his property to my mom. Also my mother is a widow. My father past away 10 years before. So I just want to know how my mother can get her share? ?

if the property is self acquired and belong to your maternal grandfather (mother's father) can sell or gift to anybody his property during his life time, you mother have no right to claim the part of the property.

is this property has been purchased by your grand father or its get inherently.
if he brought this property then he can do any thing in his property.
if he get this in inherently then your mother may claim this property.

Dear Client,
Your mother have also the rights of the property of her father. So, you have to file a partition suit before the civil court in the jurisdiction of the suit property.
