Can I claim share in my father's property after marriage
28-Apr-2023 (In Property Law)
Hello..iam a female from kurnool,AP.My father has registered all the property to my mom when i was child. Now iam married and i want money now.do i have right to ask to share the property among me and my sister? If she rejects to give us,what else i can do..plz suggest me.
A property registered/ in the possession of a woman is her absolute property and she has every right to deal with the property in whatsoever manner she wants. Technically you do not have ownership of the property. but in terms of right you can claim that these properties were ancestral and seek partition of the properties.
