can I change the boundary of a plot if the owner is not available

I purchased open plot(half plot), for both plots same boundaries given, now owner was not available, how I can change boundaries and sell the plot.
you have not mentioned the sale of remaining half plot happened before or after sale of your half plot . if sale of other half happened before sale of your plot means the owner has to rectify the deed and execute a rectification deed. if happened after sale of your plot means the one side boundary has to get rectified in your deed.
if you want to sell the same to any other you van sale it with new boundary.
