Can few member sell a part of Hindu joint property

Can a grandson, elder brother and elder sister sale the best part of the Hindu ancestral joint family property without partition and without consent of the other copartioners and while falsely mentioning in the sale deeds that they got this portion of properties in partition. Police taking no legal action. Is the mutation receits somehow procured by purchasers would be considered legal documents..

Mutation may not be legal. Notice is required issue to co partisioner prior to mutations the land and under I.P.C action may be taken for cheating and given false statements. Against police complaint case may be filed before court below.
