Can father deny property to son ?
04-Oct-2024 (In Property Law)
Father don't want to distribute his property one of his 4 son. and he remove him in his property leagly. on this son sue a case on his father. can a father disown his son from property ?
If such property has been self accumulated by the father in his lifetime, then his son/sons can not claim any right in the same. Father can distribute the same in any way he desires. Accordingly, any such claim by the son, in such case, shall have no legal basis and won't survive before the Court of Law.
However, if such property had been inherited by the father, then the same shall fall in the category of ancestral property, and his son/sons/daughters will have a legal right to assert the claim for their respective share on the same.
Hope this opinion was of some help.
