If such property has been self accumulated by the father in his lifetime, then his son/sons can not claim any right in the same. Father can distribute the same in any way he desires. Accordingly, any such claim by the son, in such case, shall have no legal basis and won't survive before the Court of Law. However, if such property had been inherited by the father, then the same shall fall in the category of ancestral property, and his son/sons/daughters will have a legal right to assert the claim for their respective share on the same. Hope this opinion was of some help. Regards, Advocate Samidha

The father is the absolute owner of the property and he has full right to evict his son from the share of property and he shall do so by publication in 2 national and 2 local newspapers and then thereafter suit for partition be filed.
