can disown son claim on house (non-ancestor property)

07-Mar-2025 (In Property Law)
The father disowned his elder son through an affidavit and a newspaper notification. After the father's death, the disowned son is claiming property rights. My question is: can he claim the property (not ancestral), considering that my mother is still living and has also disowned him

Yes it is possible for him to claim rights even though he was earlier disowned however the battle may be complicated therefore for either party it is best to take legal advice. Please feel free to get in touch.
