In the state of Karnataka ( koppal district) can grandchildren claim share in grandfather's property? After the death of the grandfather ( no widow left) his property was under dispute between his children ( 2 sons, 4 daughters) for 6 yrs nw. During this time one of the son died. The deceased son has 3 heirs( 2 adults, 1 child) and widow. Do they have any claim on the property?

Yes the deceased son's legal heirs have right to claim their respective shares over their grandfather's property. in the said mentioned suit the legal heirs of the deceased should be brought on record and then the suit should be continued.
