Can a property be claimed if promised by the relatives

25-Sep-2023 (In Property Law)
My wife and her sister had a property worth of 2.3 Crore in 2011. Her mother and sister sold the property by convincing hr that they would give an equal share after selling it hence she signed on sale documents. After 6 years, they are saying they won't give her share and they put their names on new property. Do we have right to ask for her share?

Yes she has complete right to came her share in that property and weather this condition or clause was there that the amount will be given after the sale of property or do they have any proff of payment to your wife. Get me the details and sale deed will file a case and immediately stay will be granted they will not be allowed to sell the property.

Hi,
As you said that your wife has signed the sale deed so was it at the registration office or just a draft sale deed was signed and the same was presented by her mother and sister please clarify. As you have to take a chance and file a suit stating all the facts as promised by mother and sister and as your wife has not received the amounts which are mentioned in the sale deed to her bank accounts or any cash by issuing a receipt .For further assistance call us through the website
