Can a person claim a property which is under other person's name

15-Jan-2023 (In Property Law)
Hi, My family bought a shop under my name 20 years ago. My brother has been using that shop and even has started to rent that shop from that time. After my parents death, all my brothers took the properthy under their name. I also want to have control over that shop. Is that shop under disputed property? Can my brother cause hindrance for me in taking control of that shop? If that shop has been rented, what should i do so that i can take control?

since the property / shop was purchased on your name, you will be able to find the papers. You have to evict the control of brothers through a legal process only. An injunction has to be brought in your favour.

Property related queries are always complicated and no one can advise precisely without seeing the actual papers because this property was purchased 20 years ago. In which state, how, religion of the person etc is required to understand as state to state rules get changed. Technically you have rights to object and property can't be sold without your consent as well as renting is illegal too. For detailed assistant take our paid services.
