Can a married daughter claim her share in the property
09-May-2023 (In Property Law)
Can a married hindu woman claim right to her share in her mother's agricultural property after her both parents death(which in turn was inherited by the mother from her parents, as she was single child). Is it possible?
Yes the same is possible only if the said mother died after 2005 amendment came into force, i.e, December 20, 2004. You will have to file a case for partition in the jurisdictional civil court for the same.
yes , you have a legal right in your mother's property. The amendments of Hindu succession act of 2005 provided that every woman has a legal right of property, in ancestral property . you can claim for it by filing a succession right case, in your district court. okkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
