Buyers have neither transferred property tax to their names nor paid

14-Nov-2023 (In Property Law)
I sold 2 properties in PCMC area - 2 & 4 years ago. Both buyers have neither transferred PCMC property tax to their names nor paid taxes. What steps can I take to safeguard myself? The buyers have stopped responding to me. What risk am I exposed to?nnRegards

You can give a letter to to the Property Tax Department that you have transferred your two properties in the name of the buyers and they have not updated or informed about them to the Property Tax Department about such change in ownership and that is why, you want Property Tax Department to consider them as the owners now, as you have sold your properties to them, for the purpose of charging Property Tax.
