Brought land jointly but registered in name of one brother
01-Feb-2023 (In Property Law)
Two brothers are earned and bought a land and its registered in elder brother name. after a long time the young brother asks the elder brother for 50% share. but the elder brother won't. my question is the younger brother has rights to elder brother land ?
Though the property has been registered on the elder brother's name, they may be having evidences for funding this purchase?
If there are evidences with the younger brother to prove that he funded towards the purchase of this property, he may very well seek partition through court of law also by filing a partition suit, let the elder brother deny it in the court.

Sir/Madam,
You have to prove that the property had been purchased out of your money also. you verify the sources of income of your brother at the relevant period of time if they filed his IT returns disclosing the purchase of this property. Further, if you had filed your IT returns for that period disclosing this amount you please collect the evidences and file a suit against him claiming your share over the property.
