Is your grandfather alive ? Was it your grandfather's self acquired property? Is the property remaining unpartitioned? Did your uncle sell the entire property?
Your father should file a partition suit immediately and also file an application for declaring the said sale of property as null and void insofar as his share is concerned in that property.
Contact a property lawyer immediately and take necessary actions accordingly.

sir
you have fair chance to win in case you prefer the case against your father elder brother if the property stands in the name of your father or his ancestors before the sale. such kind of sale without obtaining the signature from other legal heirs will be void one and it can be cancelled at any point of time even by the Registering authority after getting order from appropriate statutory authorities.
