I have the sale deed of the purchased land. Based on that, can I register my name on the land? Currently, they are not giving me the NOC So, how can I register my name on that land?

Under the Transfer of Property Act, 1882, a sale deed is a valid document of ownership, and you can seek to register your name based on it. However, some authorities or local bodies may require a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from concerned parties (e.g., society or municipal authorities) before updating the ownership records. If the NOC is unjustifiably withheld, you may seek legal recourse to enforce your rights. Procedure to Enter Name in Property Card: Submit the sale deed to the local land revenue office and file a mutation application to update the property records. Authorities will verify the documents, and after paying applicable mutation and registration fees, a mutation order will be issued to enter your name in the property card.

Well Ofcourse, you can register the Land by applying to the concerned Depy, i.e, to the Superintendent of Land Records or Collector or Tehsildar or Sub Divisional Magistrate as per the applicable State Laws.
