on the above mentioned query please note down that the mutation proceedings only do in agriculture land. if a plot classified as residential or commercial then the mutation proceedings could not be done. in this condition only assessment is sufficient. residential or commercial property means you purchased the property on Sq. ft. or Sq. mt.., the agricultural land denotes the area in Bigha, Biswa, Biswansi, Kachwansi etc..
