As grandson what are my rights over ancestral property?

Being a grandson do I have any share in ancestral property. if my father is trying to sell it can I take a stay on it

Inheritance is governed according to personal laws so it needs to be seen whether you are a Hinsu or a Muslim or likewise.
Considering you to be a Hindu for instance it could be said that YES you have a share in the ancestral property. Although many things still need to be taken into consideration before deciding whether you can take a stay on it or not.

Yes a grandson has equal right over the ancestral property. The share will be divided as per the number of siblings you are. There can be a stay so that your father will not be able to sell the property. A partition suit needs to be filed. Further documents are need for further advice.
