Agriculture Land, can we cut 6 gunta and sell to other person on 7/12?

22-Jan-2023 (In Property Law)
Hi, I have a question regarding agriculture land. There are 2 people name mentioned on 7/12, each having 1.5 acre plot. 7/12 is for a Gat (total 3 acres) and both the person have ownership of their respective lands on the Gat. My question is whether person 1 can transfer 6 gunta out of his 1.5 acre to person 2 ? Both person name is on 7/12. A lawyer told me that due to tukdabadi on agriculture land 6 gunta land can’t be sold but can be sold to other person on the 7/12 as both the person are of same Gat. Can you please clarify this?

Yes, If both persons holds land in same Gat no.then any person can transfer his any share to other person. There is no bar for transfer in between holders of same Gat no. One who do not land in same Gat no.can't purchase land in that Gat No.
