Adopted son's right on properties of adopted and biological parents

I am adopted son to one family. When I was in 3 months old my parents given me to them without any registration note because they both are relatives. Now my adopted parents are not taking care about my life and they are telling, you don't want to us. Now they are trying to sale their ancestral property.Even I am not getting property from my biological father.What can be the remedy?

Though your adoption is not registered, you are still adopted son of that family. You can prove your relationship of son by the documentary proof i.e. School records, ration card, passport, adhar card, voter id, witneses from your relations etc. File civil suit (declaratory suit) praying the court to declare you as a adopted son of that family.

If your adopted father has any ancestral property, you can claim that property by way of partition. If your adopted father has his own self acquired property, they you cannot do anything. Contact me through Lawrato.
