About property legacy and nominee

25-Apr-2023 (In Property Law)
Hello, My mother had purchased a home back in 2017 right after one year of my sister's marriage. As I'm the only nominee (I don't have any brother) of the home, will my sister or her husband be able to claim property share in the future in any ways? Any help in this direction is appreciated. Thank you.

if the property is self acquired then your mother can execute gift deed in your favor. After gift deed you sister and her husband have no right to claim in said property. for more information please contact me.

This is my response to you: 1. Your mother cn dispose of the property as per their wishes; 2. Your sister can stake a claim; 3. Ask your mother to write your name in Will; 4. Consult a local lawyer and take steps.
