A CNT Act land owned by a non-tribal class, can it be sold out?
21-Oct-2024 (In Property Law)
A CNT Act land owned by a non-tribal class, say its owned from more than 50years and mutation is also generated on the name of the current owner (non-tribal). What are the current ways to sell such lands in jharkhand? CNT ACt law is from a long time, inspite of it such lands were sold or purchased before which is 50-70 years back , now people of non-tribal class who had it and want to sell them are stuck. Are there no ways ? Any suggestion will be helpful.
If the land has been acquired by legal ways by complying required permission and you have valid legal documents regarding that , then it can be sold to any one. Only on the basis of Mutation and rent receipt and possession, it can't be sold legally. For better understanding, you can meet with any Civil Advocate and take his/her opinion after showing your ownership documents. Otherwise meet someone, having enough knowledge of land documents.
