What legal action to be taken in case of medical negligence

25-Jul-2023 (In Medical Negligence Law)
I'm a doctor completed my mbbs in 2017, recently 2 weeks back I contracted viral conjunctivitis. I went to an eye physician and he gave me steroids ( there's no indication). Now I've lost visual acuity to the point I can't read this message with my right eye. It spread to my left eye. It turned out to be herpes zoster which spread to the cornea due to steroids. I've already lost 2 weeks of work, pay and preparation for this. What should I do?

Take a written opinion from another doctor, preferably a govt doctor and file a criminal case under S. 337 and also a consumer complaint before consumer court for compensation. Kindly do it within one year from the date of the incident.
