Faulty surgery done by hospital and organ removed without consent

Mother had undergone a surgery 1 month back of uterus removal, the problem that came was that they removed the uterus without any test. due to that test, she got cancer and her right ovary is missing. What action can i take against faulty surgery by the hospital and removal of organ without consent of the person?
You can file a complaint about the misconduct by the doctor with the Indian Medical Council.
You can also file a complaint in the consumer forum thereby stating that you have been given wrong treatment and due to medical negligence of doctor you gave suffered loss and hence you should seek compensation from the doctor
