Dear Client, 1. Here is a short, clear legal answer: If the tenant refuses to take their belongings even after proper notice and the eviction order is executed, you as the landlord are not responsible for safeguarding their machines; during eviction you should make an inventory of items in the presence of the bailiff/police, keep the belongings outside the premises, and get a written record that the tenant refused to collect them. Once the court officer records this and the items are placed outside, all responsibility shifts to the tenant, and no liability remains on you, especially since you already gave them sufficient time and notice. 2. Consult an advocate to discuss your case in brief. 3. You may schedule an appointment regarding your case by phone or email at your convenience. Thanks & regards, Priyanka Advocate Coimbatore
