Someone purposely declines the rates of rent and property.

I live in Palghar. And I want to lend someone my flat on rent as I'm planning to shift elsewhere. A man living in our area is purposely selling homes on cheaper rates and fooling the owners saying that market rates are down. He is just another guy and not a Real Estate Agent. Also, he takes brokerage which is his motivation to make cheap deals regardless of knowing the condition of the others. How can I stop this practice?
Dear Client,
you cannot control what others are buying and selling the property, however you can control and demand the price for your property as per your wish and you should be able to convince the prospective purchaser, why you have priced as such, based on the location, the type of construction etc
