Our ancestors have been watching over the land sincerely from last 100 years. The only means of source is agriculture. I am afraid they would ask us to vacate their land. Do caretakers have some rights in law? Please help

To give legal opinion, it is necessary to know the relevant facts of your matter. If you wish to take my professional opinion through online payment, then can contact. It is also necessary to know whether Salary receipts are issued by Landowners or not and whether you are residing therein continuously and for how many years you are residing therein.

if the caretaker is a tenant then the only right is limited to that of a tenant. hence in such cases you may be evicted from the suit property through due process of law. but if you have been in adverse posession for 12 or more years then you will have absolute right over the property.
