Rented Flat vacating but mother sick

I am staying in rented flat, and 11 month agreement is going to over. Landlord asking to leave because someone else is ready to pay more advance money and rent for this flat. My mother is suffering from critical illness from past 4-5 months and now vacating the flat can be fatal fir my mother. Asking some more time from owner but he is disagreeing on it.
sorry to hear about your difficulties. unfortunately I do not foresee any legal recourse which can come to your aid. the only way you can expect to stay any longer than the rental agreement period is by allowing yourself get subjected to an eviction proceeding which can only delay and help you buy some more time within which your mother can recover or you can find a better alternative.
