Property taxes are typically the responsibility of the property owner (landlord) because they are levied on the owner of the real estate. However, landlords often factor property taxes into the rent price, meaning tenants may indirectly contribute to property tax payments through their monthly rent. Landlord's Responsibility – The property owner is legally responsible for paying property taxes to the local government. Document the Nuisance Keep a log of incidents (dates, times, duration of barking, etc.). Record videos/audio (if legal in your area—check local laws on recording). Note any property damage or threats to safety. File a Complaint with Authorities Animal Control – Report excessive barking or aggressive behavior. Police (Non-Emergency Line) – If the dog is a threat or violates noise laws. Homeowners Association (HOA) – If applicable, file a complaint.
